- D.W. BauerLino Lakes, Minnesota39 contributionsGreat place to enjoy breezes, take photos, and enjoy the viewsThis is a nice wooded park on the ridge with several vista's, picnic tables, and shops. The shops tended to be similar and contained the usual souvenir/ tourist items - bottled water, magnets, shirts, key chains. We entered on a trike and our driver was helpful telling us where to pay the entrance fee (50 php each). Otherwise, we would have been confused. We came for the ferris wheel, and that another 150 php each. The ferris wheel was slow moving and tall, giving good views throughout the ride. However, it was squeaky, the windows worn, and the ride a little stuffy. Worth the price, but not something I would do again. Zip lines and horse riding were other pay attractions. We mostly enjoyed the views and vista's. The vendors selling seeds were polite. The horseriding sales were a little more pushy and usually needed two "no's" before they left. Overall, it was a nice place to wander around, enjoy the views and breezes for an hour. Family picnics were very popular too.Visited May 2022Traveled as a coupleWritten May 1, 2022
- MarkLegazpi, Philippines28 contributionsWonderful locale with a breathtaking view of Lake TaalWe arrived at 3:00PM. It was nice, cold, and extremely windy day at Tagaytay! The entrance fee was 30 pesos (Around 0.80 Australian Dollars) There was a map by the entrance. Which was definitely useful for us. There were many large tables scattered around the area which could seat around 6 to 8 people. Which is enough for a large group of friends or a family to go eat. For bathrooms. There was enough around the area. But take note that they do require a fee of 10 pesos before you can use. There were many attractions. There was horseback riding, which I did try myself. A fish spa, a zipline. And many more which we sadly didn't have time to visit. However, the best area to visit here is the view deck which gave an IMMACULATE view of Taal Lake and Taal Volcano which was already worth the price of admission! Overall, a nice place for anyone who wants to have a picnic or get a good view of the nearby lakeVisited December 2021Traveled with familyWritten December 29, 2021
- HeidyLuzon, Philippines1 contributionMy experienceFirst time ko makapunta dito and actually pumunta kami around 9am. Wala kami masyado nagawa since walang activities due to covid restrictions as in walang horse back riding zipline and such. And I don’t know we’re unlucky kasi hindi din nagpakita si taal that time. We even had lunch first and pagbalik namin wala padin talaga. Madaming construction ongoing. I think they are preparing to serve us better once the pandemic is over. Hmmm. TERRIBLE! the place is a total mess. Rubbish everywhere and broken furniture and bbqs. They should be ashamed of charging visitors .
Very expensive considering the place is a s***hole. 75php to enter per person, then 50-200php to park. 150 -600php to sit at a table or shed. And you have to clean the tables before you sit at them.
This is tourism at its very worst. It could be beautiful if looked after but it seems as if the entry fees go straight into the owners pockets and nothing is spent maintaining the place.
It’s a disgrace.

very nice place since i love nature. its a bit cloudy so we didn't see taal volcano clearly. my dad keep on reminiscing his days in tagaytay since he visited and work in the place during his younger age. for me a first timer enjoyed shopping and horse back riding. kinda disappointed that the area for horse riding is very little and i pity the horse for she had to carry 2 persons.

My impression is that the place is not quite what it used to be and a number of areas were being renovated. There is an entrance fee plus parking fee plus attraction fees. Its good for a small walk..picnics and has good views of Taal.

Everything here is so expensive! The entrance fee here is 75 pesos per head which is not that bad, you have to pay to park there but you can enter here without a vehicle, the zipline costs 300 pesos for just a really short ride and the photo costs 100!
the horseback riding also costs 300 but its only for kids or small adults because the horses there are quite small! but that's not all you also have to pay 10 pesos to use the restroom, i would not recommend to go here if your family has a tight budget. (sorry for my bad grammar/spelling)

We decided to go there while we were waiting to check in to our hotel. It was a nice park with horseback riding and zipline (not operating the day we were there). Please note that if you are a big American man, they do not have horses that you can ride. The horses are smaller size but good for kids, and smaller adults. You can also take your own food and have a picnic.

This is one of the best places to go to if you want a nice view of Taal Volcano and lake. Entrance fee is Php 35 for parking, plus Php 50 per head. There are lots of shops where you can buy souvenirs, and cottages for rent if you're on a picnic. Otherwise you can simply dine at some of the eateries in the area. There's also a Ferris wheel and zipline. The viewing deck gives you a great view of Taal Volcano and lake. There's also an area for horseback riding. All in all, Picnic Grove is a nice place to visit. However, their toilets and payment area need a lot of upkeeping.

50% capacity ng tao. So if ever na-reah na nila ang capacity, nagsasara na sila ng gate. You need to wait at least 2-4 hrs para makapasok ka. Kasi mostly sa mga pumapasok ng umaga, hapon na lumalabas. Kids are allowed. Parking fee of P30.
