My experience
Apr 2021 • Couples
First time ko makapunta dito and actually pumunta kami around 9am. Wala kami masyado nagawa since walang activities due to covid restrictions as in walang horse back riding zipline and such. And I don’t know we’re unlucky kasi hindi din nagpakita si taal that time. We even had lunch first and pagbalik namin wala padin talaga. Madaming construction ongoing. I think they are preparing to serve us better once the pandemic is over. Hmmm. You can check out my video posted in YT (Heidy Tolete)

One of the worst place in Tagaytay
Jan 2020 • Couples
Honestly I hate to use the word ugly but yes, this place is...dirty and seems like whoever's managing it is NOT doing its job well. Do not waste your time here and even your money. Entrance fee is 50 per head plus 35 for parking. As soon as we got inside I didn't even want to step out of the car but didn't have a choice. Place is dirty! I can't imagine how people can eat considering the tables amd surrounding is an absolute mess. The toilet is closed and from the looks of it, it looks awfully icky to the highest high. Take my word, it's not worth visiting the place for whatever reason.

Everybody knows this place. I’ve been here several times since I was young. My family enjoyed spending time here.

But now, I surely don’t plan to go back. Traffic is terrible.....

The saving grace is the view. This place could be improved if only it will be repaired or refurbished.

Quick family bonding
Oct 2019
A usual place to visit, they should do some re-paints on the cottages (many vandalism). Still have a good view of the Taal lake and volcano. Somewhat clean and many stalls selling souvenirs, just a quick visit since not so much to do here. visited 10/05/19

Neglected park
Oct 2019 • Family
We were at Picnic Grove last Oct 5, 2019 and it was not the same as it was when we were there 20 years ago. Entrance fee is P50/head, very affordable but place is so crowded and there were many stray dogs walking around. The view of Taal Lake is almost covered by people and cottages plus grass us not maintained (dry and with weeds growing). If you have low budget, this is the place but do not expect much. Expect no privacy and it’s difficult to find a parking space maybe because it was a Saturday when we went there. Staff at the entrance fee cashier was a bit rude. Only nice in pictures but in reality, this place seems to have been neglected by the LGU.

Perfect for family bonding

Wide and clean spaces perfect for family picnics. We tried the eco trail but got so tired because we visited during lunch time and it was so hot. Hopefully it can be maintained well.
