Admittedly the travel from our hotel took about as long as the ascent, descent, and time spent walking around viewing everything, so this isnt a full day activity. But its a cool place that i totally suggest to see if you are in Tagaytay. It was overcast and sprinkling on arrival, the walk to the top was steep but entirely manageable, im young but a heavy smoker and was able to do it in one go, so taking a break or two can make it manageable for anyone. I wasnt as encompassed by the architecture or building as i had hoped, some parts are very impressive, others just seem a little dilapidated and uncared for. But the views of everything were absolutely amazing, especially as the overcast clouds swept by us and cleared the view of everything in sight.

Peoples Park In The Sky, only 55km (31 miles) away from Manila via Aguinaldo Highway It is one of the country's most popular tourist destinations The mountains of Tagaytay provides a good view of the Manila surroundings. The place is a popular summer tourist destination because of its cold climate. But i did'nt see any restaurants, just a burgerhouse. That make my ratings down.( This description is from my blog: http://bonzon.blogspot.com/

A must for everyone who visits Tagaytay.
The place are not properly maintained but let's face it, the entrance fee are very low compared to any tourist spot considering it is in a prime location.
Instead be focus on the breathtaking view and very calming cool breeze.
I've been here countless times still never fails to awe.

Scam artists. He tells u 30 peso for adult and kids are 10 peso but as soon as he saw a foreigner with us kids all of a sudden 30 peso and so everything else are priced from bathrooms, seating down are 100 pesos. It's not worth it when your own kababayan scams you. Disappointed of Tagaytay! At least taking pictures is free! 😂

This was excellent and a marvelous view. of the Tagaytay area There was also a small church there-The Shrine of Our Lady, Mother of Fair Love
It was built for President Reagon's visit in 1983 but when Marcos was toppled in the People's Power Revolution the visit was cancelled. I got a video and photo of me on a horse there!
.

Marian chapel

The chapel at the park
The Shrine of Our Lady, Mother of Fair Love is located within the People's Park in the Sky. The shrine was installed on December 15, 1974, with the installation of the image of the Blessed Virgin Mary and the child Jesus by Hernan D. Reyes, aided by four high school students and two workers. During the construction of the Palace in the Sky in 1981, workers were unable to blast a huge rock containing the image of the Blessed Virgin Mary with several dynamite blasts. The rock was left intact, after the discovery of the image.[5]

I laid my 4 month old son on the floor (on his blanket & comforter) to take some shots of him but UNFORTUNATELY, something from the roof fell down on him. The Samsung tablet I am using then is now damaged due to the strong impact. To my dismay, it was some steel (now made of rust) and obviously, because of NO Maintenance and Supervision a long time ago. Yes, my son got bruises and wounds on his knees and the worst on his toe. We immediately went to the office and talked to somebody. He's a male supervisor actually. We discuss what happened. In fairness, he's approachable but couldn't do anything to help us. He just offered their alcohol and betadine solution as first aid. According to him, several cases happened which they reported but the local government in TAGAYTAY didn't do something. We paid P30 per head for the entrance fee but how come, there is no even a small renovation. We also have to pay for the use of their comfort rooms. I attached some photos and hopefully, this will be a wake up call to the concern local government. We were all disappointed yet thankful to God that my son has his anti tetanu vaccine since his 2nd month. Though, we still went to hospital for his treatment.

1st time to came here and I was shock of the awesome and beautiful scenery of Batangas, Laguna, Cavite and even the Metro Manila. I am amazed also that here in People's Park during the dark you could notice how great the lights of the downtown and SLEX road. It was really cool up there for the view. But sad to share this one, the place was not maintained and cleaned up. If they could only renovate the area and beautified the place it will attract more visitors/tourists. Anyway, it is still one of the best place I have visited.
