Get here in the early morning before the temperature gets too high and the tour buses arrive and disgorge the masses - it is a very peaceful place and is a must see in Bagan. The Buddhas inside are huge.

Beautiful temple inside and out. The only thing that needs improvement is the upkeep outside. Go early in the morning for instagrammable after-sunrise photos.

Interesting visit of a very beautiful temple. The negative is due to the lack of cleaning and the inclusion of led signs in front of the works to be seen.

No doubt this is the architectural beauty of 11/12 century. Its huge statues made of wood are amazingly beautiful, hard to describe. Must visit temple for Bagan visitors.

This is a beautiful temple with different architecture from the usual pagodas seen in Bagan. It has four distinguished-looking Buddha statues and huge carved teak doors. This very tall temple can be seen very far away.

As you follow the google maps (key word: Ananda) to the nearby area, look around and you will find a red-gold-ish temple tower from far away (that was how I found it and told my friends when all of them were busy looking... More
