Though it is closed on public holidays, I still enjoy the garden behind the museum and the miniature around. They are great!! I really hope the state government can keep the museum well.

Interesting inside but the outside buildings needed some repair work done on them. There was an entry fee to get in.

I don't plan to go to the museum, but as we have free time we go to the museum. so unique lots of history of pontianak.

It's a little frustrating to see how the state's rich history and culture are not maximized in its introduction and preservation at this museum. Clearly there's a lack of management from the staff and you can tell from the place that's not being maintained well....More

The museum focused on the ethnic groups in West Kalimantan, and it was great to learn more about the traditions of the people. They also had a great section on the ceramics of the different dynasties.

Only rp10K for entrance, this is only a small museum. A lovely building. We only managed a half hour visit as it closes at2pm. Although only a small visit, it was culturally informative/educational. I am glad I made the effort, and recommend it. There is...More
