We went past this and stopped to have a look. Lots of pilgrims making offerings and lots of lines inside. We did a very quick tour of the inside.

The Goddess Mariamman's one of the most world famous temple words are insuffeicient to describe her power and grace and the reach she has on the trichy peoples heart, huge crowds throng the temple throught the year.

This a Goddess temple and not a place for sight seeing ratherr a place for devotion. If you want to know the devotional style of or ritual of sakya bhakti(goddess worship) of hinduism. It is the place to be visited. No restriction to foreigners.

Had been to Samayapuram during November 2017 after Kumbabisegam done 2 years back. A powerful Mariamman temple near Trichy. Heavy Crowd during Fridays and Sundays.₹ 100 special darshan tickets available. It also takes time for darshan. Sri Pathinettampadi karuppar is there. Must see the shrine
