This Dam on Cauvery river shows the inguenity of Chola Kings for the welfare of the state. Good irrigation and crops led to a blissfull life. Even now is an useful irrigation project over centuries

It's very good place to spend time and have the park and now days water is very less and see the dry area. During the water time it's so good

This is an amazing sight for modern engineering as it was built by stones in second century AD, in running water, by a Chola Dynasty King called Karikalan. A must see sight..
