Not for everyone but it is a must for the right people who likes this kind of thing. Some entrances are for hindus only but still the outside provides some nice pictures and the atmosphere is still enjoyable for non hindus.

The Murugan Temple at viralimalai is situated 25 kms from Tiruchirapalli Junction. The place can be visited anytime during the year. There used to be 100's of peacocks those days but now due to urbanisation the numbers have dropped.
