The temple is quite old but is very clean and well maintained unlike in other temples. The place is quite serene and there are many tales woven around the mystic Lord Shiva.

We were really fortunate to worship in this great temple. The architectural beauty of this temple is par excellence. The main dirty is Lord Shiva. Parvati in the form of Akhilandeswari is also worshipped here.

The temple also known as Thiruvanaikovil is a 1000+ year old temple. The Lord here is a swaymbumoorthy. Of the Panchaboothas, this temple belongs to Water importance. The other shrines inside the Temple are Panchamukha Vinayaka and Sani Bhagawan. We had a good darshan at...More

The temple is huge and sparsely crowded. The swami is viewed through nine holes. The Ambal sannadhi was just opening when we went. The song sung by the priest was very melodious and memorable. Overall a great humbling experience.
