Very nicely done, worth a visit. I really enjoyed a quick lesson on Civil war history. The structures were a nice bonus, gives you a look into life during the War. Beautiful and quiet area to walk around.

They have a couple of nice cabins located on the property. They say the battlefield is haunted. We took a ghost hunting group there and it was interesting.

A very authentic looking replica of life during the civil war. They've done a fine job! A good historical look at our past.

Small area but interesting history in the small structures. Nice to get out and stretch your legs and learn a little history.

Small, well-marked area, easy to find, parking. Little-known campaign of Civil War in west. No visitors center but the Military Museum nearby has good display on the site. About 30 mins of history reading but you can walk the grounds a bit.

This is a quaint little park, right in the highway, nice for a quick stop. It deals with a bit of local Civil War history, with a couple log cabin style buildings. Interesting enough, it is also on the Trail of Tears. Nice stop or...More

There is a canon, a couple of structures, a small walking trail and a couple of signs telling you what happened there. Not really a whole lot to take pictures of but now we can say we've been there. Parking is small and there is...More

Once again the TripAdvisor address was wrong!!! I ended up googling it and finding it 2.5miles from TripAdvisor address. As far as the place itself, it was cool. There was an old house and in the back a second building which was the kitchen. There...More
