Well I did not remember el Hatillo as such messy, dirty and unpleasant place. I remember that place as quite, clean and well organized place. I found it a disappointment in this visit after 11 years

Very unique and quaint place. Colonial and "old" beautiful architecture. There is a little plaza where you can walk surrounded by several restaurants, ice cream shops and art craft stores. Definitely a must if you are in Caracas.
