My name is Bahman Mardanloo. Born and grew up in the Zagros Mountains, I'll be more than happy to share my passion with anyone who's interested to discover everything about the Qashqai Culture. I provide a full immersion in the nomadic way of life. Wilderness, amazing landscapes and lovely people to meet. Tours can be organised starting from Shiraz (where I live) or from other places. One day-tours or longer are available. Hope to see you soon in wonderful Iran.

We spent 2 days/1 night with Bahman. Bahman was friendly, generous, and was eager to share details of Qashqai life. We stayed with his family, who were a few hours outside of Shiraz, on their way north for the summer. The pastoral highlands where they...More

The experience begins as soon as you leave the paved road and begin to wind your way up into the mountains. You can feel "civilization" fading away, and as you arrive to meet Bahman's family you know this will be something unique. You are immediately...More

A remarkably, beautiful experience that I had the great fortune of having had. The Zagros Mountains is one of the most wonderful places you'll visit with clean, fresh air and breathtakingly beautiful scenery. You'll have the option of requesting several different options from the tour...More

I went on a 1-day tour with Bahman and thoroughly enjoyed it! At core it was very simple as we just visited a true nomad family, but I got caught in the absolute cuteness of the nomadic school under a tent with a handful of...More
