We stopped off in Newton Stewart but found it rather 'down at heel' & tired. Little in the way of quality in both shops & cafes.

We visited this lovely town whilst on holiday a few miles away. Very friendly place ( free parking near the super markets) there's an Aldi and a Sainsbury's side by side. Good visitor centre. Great cafes ( brew ha ha is a must) the river...More

If you like walking and cycling it's a nice place, but other than that it's like a ghost town. Nothing really in the place, just a few cafes really. Not even any shops to look around.

popped in for coffee and a scone. cheep and cheerful. Staff friendly and helpful. They offer mean but just for coffee and cake it was great

Professionally laid out site,although fairly limited on facilities. Very helpful and polite staff. Only fault is, that you are a 'Captive Audience' and thr prices refkect this! Very Expensive...
