Plenty of traffic free miles on route 78. Ferries (no charge for cycles) get you to the beautiful island of Lissmore or away from the A82 to reach Fort William. It is worth getting hold of the Sustrans leaflet that has maps and route descriptions.

A wonderful mostly off road cycle between Ballachulish and Oban. A new section has just opened from Kentallen to Duror. Much of this route is on the old railway and goes along the coast many times with beautiful scenery all the way. Wild flowers on...More
