This is a gorgeous loch with a wonderful back drop of mountains. Whether you go for a walk along the lake or follow the tougher trails up the mountains through the forest, this is a must see location.

We stopped here on our way home , what a gem of a place , so peaceful . The tables even have a metal plate on which you can sit a portable BBQ .

The sun was shining and the sky was clear blue what a way to see this fabulous Loch. We stopped at Information centre next to the Loch which offered easy access to the shoreline

Loch Marie is a beautiful lake with great hiking and photography possibilities. In late October we had the lake to ourselves--it was quiet and stunning.

We spent a lovely couple of days around the loch, including a boat trip on it which was on my bucket list. Stunning.

One of the most unspoilt lochs in Scotland, there is literally 2 or 3 buildings on the loch, one of them being the Loch Maree Hotel, where you can get a coffee and admire the beautiful scenery, and if you go early in the morning,...More

One of the bonniest loch's in Scotland (there are many). From the Beinn Eighe visitor centre follow some of the signed walks and the views over Loch are simply stunning

This must be one of the most scenic lochs around. It's worth checking out the interesting and informative visitors centre. My children especially enjoyed the bird watching point where they could play with a cctv camera to zoom in on the birds and we're delighted...More
