Shotley to Harwich on the ferry then Seal spotting in Hamford Water. Lunch in the cafe on the pier, a trip round the Lightship a quick walk round the town and then ferry back - great expedition- a good day out

We use this quite a lot in Summer to visit Shotley and Felixstowe as we don't drive and the train takes ages. Run by nice people and a good price. Regular sailings between the 3 stops but doesn't run in winter as its quite small...More

a quick and fun way to get from Harwich to Felixstowe, 15 minutes-ish and you are walking up the beach. On a cold day, you get a blanket to wrap around your knees! well worth the trip

Thanks for your review. Unfortunatly the ferry does not have a pontoon or shelter from the elements on the Felixstowe side. Something usually provided by councils. The owner has invested a 5 figure sum to build a gang way on the ferry to secure the...More

Always driven to Felixstowe from Walton-on-Naze before, but have always said we would try the Ferry from Harwich one day. We would thoroughly recommend it. There was no hassle, it was on time, and it was just like a boat trip around the port.
