Ha'penny Pier is a Victorian wooden Pier. It's one of only a few remaining examples of working wooden piers in the UK and is owned and managed by Harwich Haven Authority.

This is a great place to explore we had to be in this area to get the return ferry to Felixstowe. There are lots of places to eat mostly delicious sea food. This moored ship is a radio station.

lovely evening stroll on the pier, with seating areas for you watch the world go by on, stuffed fabric fish all tied to the lampposts gives it a nice "looked after" touch

Nice little spot to watch the boats go past - some seating on there and a cafe which also sells ice cream. Quite a buzzy atmosphere.

We had a great visit here helped by the fact it was a hot sunny day. The pier is great with superb views and also cafes to visit.

This little pier is great to visit and watching the day go by, especially catching a faint cool breeze during the spell being experienced. Great views of the Shotley peninsula and sea/river traffic. It also looks a really good place to take children crabbing as...More
