Well worth the visit and very very interesting the volunteer staff are exceptionally helpful too!!! My grandchildren enjoyed themselves touching the canons and imagining the battles fought in the area!!!!!

This is a surprising venue, tucked away on the way into Dovercourt you could miss it. Lots of interesting history and exhibitions. No parking as such but just a short (uphill) walk from the road.

I think the Redoubt Fort over the 'winter' is open every Sunday from 10am to 4pm. From 1st May until September it's open almost every day.
