The park is a must visit for families. Lovely riverside with ducks and swans to feed , a great children’s play park and a super new cafe in private ownership , serving great coffee and snacks . Plenty of open space for games .

We love Higginson park. After wandering down the High st a visit to the park is a nice contrast. You can wander through the green down to the River. We often sit here with a picnic or a drink before heading back to the shops...More

This is a beauiful location for a riverside stroll, a dog walk, a jog, a picnic or to take the kids to the park. Pay and display car park nearby does get busy on weekends and warm days, and the kiddies play area is always...More

10 meters from the Thames with lots going on for all ages. Play park, walks and advertisements for future planned activities. Lovely peaceful (children playing happily) park to visit.

A walk by the river, a picnic, playground fun and even the chance to take a boat trip up or down stream in the summer months. A lovely place to visit and a little Oasis in the middle of a busy town.
