Stunning, there are really no words to describe this and other local Fjords. Steep cliffs. blue and green water, glaciers! Amazing. And the air is so fresh. Everyone should get to see these places at least once in their lives.

We loved our boat trip on Lovatnet Lake, it was beautiful. The water is an extraordinary shade of green. The lake is surrounded by mountains and waterfalls. It is quiet and the water is very still, so it's quite mesmerising drifting slowly across the lake....More

Sailed through the lake during a glacier viewing excursion from a cruise ship. Everything was top quality. Perfect weather, blue/green water, spectacular scenery, interesting history with tragic events involving landslides, tsunamis and fatalities, glaciers, waterfalls, woodland. Simply perfect – Norway at its very, very best.

We drove the twelve minutes from Hotel Loenfjord on the narrow road to get to the most ideal site for an afternoon swim. The water glistened and the views were incredible. We bravely made our way into the water and as cold as it was...More
