About
We love welcoming guests from all over the world to the first home of Bill and Hillary Clinton and where they were married. The Museum is situated in the beautiful Ozark Mountains in Fayetteville, Arkansas. This home has a special place in local, national, and international history. Bill Clinton took Hillary Rodham's hand in marriage 17 years before he would be elected President. The home's series of owners also have deep roots in local Arkansas history. The museum houses memorabilia of Clinton's early political career, including his campaigns for US House of Representatives and Arkansas Attorney General. Temporary and timely exhibits cover the history of Secretary Clinton's life in public service and her time in Arkansas. The collections include a faithful replica of Hillary's wedding dress and a timeline of the Clinton years in Fayetteville. Our museum store has books related to the Clinton legacy, Arkansas history, Arkansas politics, and the culture of the Ozarks. We also have mementos, gifts, and more for a keepsake of your visit. The Museum is open to the public and donations are welcome.

Bill and Hill looking so happy

A small Tutor-style home near the U. All the First Lady flowers in the garden. Very small yard and small house...We enjoyed it!

We arrived surprised by the modest home. The tour guide had several interesting facts about the house and the Clinton's. We enjoyed our time spent here.

Great place to visit!
Feb 2019 • Couples
A must-see for fans of Bill and Hillary, the museum is a charming Tudor-style home that was the Clintons' first (at the time, they were both teaching at the University of Arkansas Law School). Take the guided tour -- our guide/attendant was both friendly and knowledgeable. Great stop!

Very neat place to visit, the home of the Clintons.

The attendant in the museum was both knowledgeable and courteous. I would say this is worth stopping by if in the area, a part of history and no charge either.

Not much more than a few bulletin boards
Mar 2018 • Couples
If you are expecting a museum in the traditional sense you will be disappointed. Really just a couple of rooms with a few bulletin boards displaying items, but bereft of much in the way of furniture or history. I know Arkansas is proud of the Clintons and everyone wants to get in the act, but this is a half-hearted effort. Free, will only take thirty minutes if you read everything.

Stopped because it was there...

I just felt evil in that house...but it might have been because I was wearing my Make America Great Again Hat.....you can walk through in 10 min. The rose garden was dead...and parking is very narrow. There is a tour you can pay for but I don't think they were impressed by my MAGA hat so I left.

I'm sorry you felt unwelcome. We are always happy to see anyone who chooses to visit! We are proud to be able to offer all of our tours for free, so it's unfortunate you felt you had to pay for something. Please come by again soon and let us tell you some of the fun stories about Fayetteville in the 1970s.

A must see for fans of Hilary & Bill
Apr 2018 • Solo
The museum has limited free parking, but there is some free parking on the street as it is in a residential neighborhood. There is no admission charge, but there is a donation box if you are so inclined. It is the house in which the Clintons got married. They also lived there for a couple of years early in Bill's political career. It is, after all, a residence and not very large. There is a guide if you would like a guided tour or you may wander about the place on your own. There is a small gift shop which seemed to consist of books about or written by the Clintons.

Only stopped by for a quick look
Jun 2018 • Couples
We didn't get a chance to go in but we stopped by, simply because we were in the area. It's a nice house and interesting to see where Bill and Hillary lived and got married - regardless of your views on them, they are part of American history. I would have gone in if we had time.

Very Interesting and educational

Very interesting and educational tour, led by a friendly and knowledgeable staff member. Many photos and descriptions of the Bill and Hillary Clinton early years in Arkansas, and the Arkansas political campaigns and offices leading up to his successful run for President.

A wonderful addition to Fayetteville, it should be on the list for all of our students from about 4th grad up in History or Social Studies classes to visit. It is a shame that the local schools dont take more advantage of it.
