Don't miss the Castle
Sep 2020
Wilson Park is a great park, but its stand-out attraction is undoubtedly the Castle (AKA "Point 7").
The Castle exemplifies everything that makes Fayetteville, Fayetteville: it’s unique, artsy, weird, and fun. Little kids love playing on it; teenagers hang out on it after dark. It's been the backdrop for senior pictures and weddings for two generations now. It's truly one of the icons of Fayetteville.

Great Park!
Jan 2020 • Family
Delightful park in the center of Fayetteville. Well kept grounds; separate playground areas for toddlers and older kids; nice bike/ walking/ scooter path and nice swings. Tennis courts are well maintained in the center of the park.
The kids and parents / family all seemed to have a wonderful time! A big plus is the “ castle” at the far end of the park. The pond in front of the castle attracts kids with small fishing nets! The kids climb the castle steps and peer out the windows of the tower and play “king and queen”
I highly recommend a day at Wilson Park for the family.

Whimsical park
Jan 2020 • Couples
Brisk January mornings in Fayetteville are made much more enjoyable by going on a quick trip to Wilson Park. There are many things to go and explore all purposefully made ecologically mindful. Including a butterfly garden, goat eating habitat (seasonal), walking trail, serene creek, community pool, and a whimsical involved art display. My favorite of all being the whimsical art display. The details are enjoyable and will leave you feeling pleased with your outing. It’s not every day you see a giant worm incorporated into the architecture.

wonderland playground for families
Oct 2019
This park has been around for a super long time but it gets better all of the time. In the summer there is a fenced area that goats live ~ they eat the wild vegetation that would otherwise take over some areas of the park. The castle area is a favorite play area for children and families and there are other play areas, a swimming pool for summer enjoyment. We recently had our family photos taken in the park.

My kids' favorite park!
Apr 2019 • Friends
This is a beautiful park! It has walking trails, picnic tables, swings, slides, and climbing toys for both the bigger kids and the little ones. The pavilion is a nice place to reserve to host a birthday party and the pool is huge and can accommodate several party guests as well. The castle is not to be missed with its unique detail and architecture! My only complaint about this park is that it's very spread out. You have to walk to the other end of the park to enjoy the castle because it's kinda far away from the pavilion, swings, and slides.

classic fayetteville park. Always lots of people enjoying the space. Great, but hilly jogging trail around park. One of my favorites.

A spectacular example of "unique" neighborhood parks.

The biggest draw for WILSON PARK is the goldfish pond and sculpture garden, located in the N.E. corner of this 20-acre park in central Fayetteville. With structures reminscent of the Spanish architect Gaudi, and facial sculptures that combine elements of indie-film weirdness with Disney-Style scale, it's worthy of photos and a visit!

For both visitors and residents alike, this lovey park is a must see. The grounds are beautiful and very well maintained. The landscaping when in full bloom is breathtaking. You can play ball, tennis, swim and walk your dog in lovely surroundings. Go visit!
