outstanding place to watch a basketball game. To me there is not a bad set in the house. The fan are really what makes this place. Oh the food isn't either

Basketball arena

This is where the University of Arkansas basketball teams play their games. The arena is on sports row. It is a worthy stop on your Arkansas campus tour.

Basketball Game Fun!
Jan 2019 • Family
My family had the pleasure of calling the Hogs at a basketball game at Bud Walton Arena. We loved the atmosphere and the facilities were great. I do with the snack bars had a wider variety of offerings, but we really weren't there to eat, so it was okay. My daughter loved that the dance team had members out to meet and take pictures with. Overall, a great experience that I hope to have again!

Needs a renovation.

My wife got me tickets for my birthday, it was senior night. The game and the arena are awesome! I haven't been to Bud Walton Arena since 1995, and the museum downstairs has not changed AR all. I really loved the experience, but I thought after over 20 years it would be at least a little different. I also thought the way the National Championship trophy was displayed was embarrassing. But it was an awesome night watching Daryl Macon and Jalen Barford both score their 1000th career points, and take down 14th ranked Auburn! Go hogs!

Men's Basketball ... and a smattering of other. Walk across the street.
Feb 2018 • Solo
If you want to see the highlights of Razorback men's basketball, which are recognizable in the Sutton and Richardson eras, then this will be a trip down memory lane. If you expect anything about other sports either there is very little (men's golf, women's basketball, men's tennis, men's track and field) or nothing. Track and field is one of the premier collegiate programs in the country and this is not the place to learn about it (but the indoor track facility has an impressive display of trophies and banners). There are two video display areas, but neither of them was working when I visited. Also, 6-10 pictures (or something) were missing because just the holder was visible in the trophy case. Free admission, but beware that the museum is open only M-F during normal business hours, so don't expect to stop by on the weekend. Don't miss the basketball building across the street which has a giant interactive video display you can enjoy.

I have to admit...

our seats were too close to the floor. We came as guests of a visiting team that played in Fayetteville. We were right behind the bench and we were wishing that our seats were a bit higher.

BUT, the Arkansas fans were outstanding to us throughout our visit. We encountered many well wishes and congratulations after the game (we DID lose after all!) and will go back if our team plays the Hogs again.
