A good idea to stop here first to get information and watch a short film. They have maps of the park and Rangers to answer any questions you may have.

This was an interesting visitor center with a nice film about the Canyon. It was busy and we arrived just before the film started so like others we didn't get to talk with anyone because of our schedule.

We stopped by the Visitor Center during our short trip to the Grand Canyon. The ranger made a few suggestions based on our ability and timeline, and they were just perfect!

It was exceptionally busy when we were there and never really got to talk to agents. But enjoyed looking at history also they were showing a great movie about the canyon.

The canyon is super large and does take a good deal of time to familiarise it so this has the answer to all your questions. It is busy of course. There are free busses provided on four coloured routes including the purple route from Tusayan....More

the place is full of useful information and very polite rangers ready and eager to answer your questions. I got a lot of very good tips on how to enjoy the canyon, what trails to visit, restaurants, view points, transportation etc.

Standard visitor center. Has all of the amenities and available for everyone. Can be a little crazy with all of the tourists running around.

I believe you can buy a lifetime NP membership for $10 at the age of 62. Enjoy the parks. Best $10 investment :)
