Hopefully you’ll get Carol as your guide, an absolute sweetheart local who knows her stuff. Take your rain gear during low season, the boat ride out to the island is an adventure in and of itself.

If you visit Osa and Corcovado, dont forget to visit the Cano Island for Snorkeling the best spot for Diving & Snorkeling, the wáter very clean depend of the season of the year, on the way always dolphins and whales, keep your eyes open.

My understanding is that the whale sharks and humpbacks will be gone by January. You will see rays and small white tip sharks.
