It seems the only sane place to be in July in Tempe! The children have it great. They run and splash through a changing variety of water devices. Happy parents were engaged and getting wet too. It would be helpful to have more shade over...More

Park was nearly deserted when I went (new to the area from Alberta, Canada), and was mostly peaceful, however there was loud construction (doesn't affect my rating). What DID affect my rating was the condition of the park. It was filthy. Absolutely awful, and it...More

Had some time to kill and found this was the perfect spot for a short walk. Once around is a mile. Paddle boats weren't open yet but lots of folks were fishing on the bank.

We went there for the tennis courts, but overall, for a city owned facility, it is very impressive. The courts are well maintained.

So much to do here, or simply have a stroll through it. Water fountains throughout, clean park, fresh breeze coming off the lake - a very pleasant morning walk!!
