Well marked and groomed trails for all levels. We hiked to the summit and then down and around the back side. It was lovely and will get even prettier when the cacti bloom.

I loved this trailhead because it has so many options available. From the super-easy 1/2 mile trail to ones that go for miles and miles around the park. I particularly liked climbing Brown Mountain.

This is THE place to hike, bike, boulder and picnic on the multiple trails. Great easy mountain biking for beginners, hiking is just beautiful, climb the boulders and enjoy a picnic in an incredibly scenic area. See wildlife such as deers, birds, and much more. This spot never gets old. Bathroom facilities with running water (believe me, some places don't have this) are super nice as well. Plenty of parking too. This hiking spot is a must see in the Phoenix area.

Nice trail with interesting views. A shortcoming was undesirable traffic, namely, many bicycles and a number of horses.

Many different loops/hikes to choose from. Mountain bikes, hikers & equestrians share the trails, which can get busy on weekends in the milder weather. Kid & dog friendly - but no dogs if the temperature is expected to be above 90 degrees. Dogs need to be leashed - city ordinance.
