That says it. I wanted a dawn run. I got a dawn run checking over my shoulder from the start. The ranger I finally reconnoitered with said the area is full of homeless with dogs and knives.

We enjoy walking and biking on the canal during our time in Scottsdale. It is also so clean and pleasant to walk and bike there. We also enjoy the events on the canal during February and March.

If you have seen one canal with water before, you seen a canal with water! Nothing particularly exciting about it except that it abuts food and shopping as part of “the waterfront.” It does enhance the beauty of the area, particularly at night.

Curious to see what sort of a waterfront there is in a desert town like Scottsdake, we went up to the Arizona Canal and began to stroll. We found a wonderful, multicolored installation hanging above a section of the canal, reflected in the calm waters...More

After being surprised to find a canal in Az., we strolled with our friends for about 20 min. Stopping often to talk and look at the surroundings.
