Gorgeous area. However, a bit crowded and very popular. They have altered rules during covid and no dogs allowed.

This is a moderate hike with changing elevations and great views! The trails are easy to follow and clear, I went with two people who are not big hikers and a little out of shape and they enjoyed it. Go on the earlier side to avoid crowds and be sure to bring enough water even in the winter.…

I would rate this hike as intermediate. There are steeps and flats, smooth & stoney. I'm 65 snow skier with a not so good knee, but was fine with a walking stick. It's not a loop -- you hike up, then down the back side, then return. 3.5 miles total. Or just do as much as you want. If you've done Bryce & Zion, you'll be fine. If you're hard-core, then run it, as some were doing. CAVEAT!... GO EARLY! We were there by 9AM and the main parking lot was almost full. There was enough room on the trail, though. When we left, the parking lot was overflowing with cars all the way down to the main road. Be there close to opening time. Good restrooms (with plumbing) at the trial head.…

This is a moderate hike in a well kept path. Great views that change as you go up and down on a hike that takes around two hours. The total distance was 3.2 miles with a total elevation climb of just under 900’. Even in the winter make sure you take enough water.

Perfect challenge, especially if you like interval-type training. This is not just a hike up and a hike back down. There are multiple ups and downs throughout. Very well maintained (5 friendly volunteers working the morning we visited). Be prepared for loads of steps and definitely start early before it gets hot! Beautiful views throughout. When you get to the highest point, realize you are NOT even half way with a great deal more to come on the other side.…
