This is a free activity with a love donation collected at the end. Learn about Samoan cooking, food, woodwork, tatooing, and crafts in a guided and informative morning. The event includes lunch cooked in the traditional Samoan oven/umu

Bit disappointed. Expected some 'interactive experiences' and all there that was there was a table selling a limited range of jams, oils and soaps.More

I went there because Lonely Planet was so crazy about it. But during a regular day, most of the huts/fales were closed, not much was actually shown. Some of the staff was really charming but most wasn't really up for a chat.More

Twice we have to correct viewers about Samoa Culture Centre at Falelauniu and the Cultural Village at STA town Apia. Sorry but you went to the Cultural Village and not us. We run our cultural activities on Wednesdays with bookings only and any other day...More

Had a great 4 hours of information and hands on Village power and politics explained Witnessed Umu prep, had a go at weaving, saw how the pandanus parchment is produced, boat carving, coconut cord making, dance and Kava ceremony greeting in Fale Lunch was great...More

Give this a miss- there was very little to see. Under one of the Fale's they were tattooing someone but we were chased away cause we were not wearing lavalava's Surely they could go somewhere else if they don't want visitedMore
