Maybe it was jus the day but we found it a bit uninspiring with very few fish, not alot of coral and the water was somewhat murky. I would possibly try it again in better conditions.

We popped in for a quick snorkel in the late afternoon, and loved it! There were plenty of tropical fish to see, the water was beautifully warm and it was relatively easy to navigate. Could be a bit better marking of where the good bits...More

Absolutely worth a visit. Entrance $5 WST per person. The water is not that deep to get to the reserve so its very safe. The fish are spectacular, I saw a giant blue starfish and a seahorse which was amazing! We went about mid-morning and...More

It is a good place to snorkel. You can rent a gear when you pay the admission fee. If you keep going far away from the land then eventually you will be at a cliff where it is packed with corals and tropical fish. I...More

It was an amazing view! There were also swings to enjoy before and after a swim. You also can come back at any point of the day after paying the first time.

Had a nice snorkel here, more fascinated by fish than reef which was mostly damaged. However still enjoyed it. A tip - try snorkeling in midday as i came around 4 pm and the sun was low so the reef was not bright enough.

This was a real highlight of our trip. You can rent what you need there. Definitely go at the recommended tide. So close to Apia CBD but a really great snorkeling experience.

An amazing place to go and snorkel, and only 3 minute drive from the center of Apia. Cost is $5 tala. The Palolo Deep Marine Reserve drop off does require a bit of swimming (100-150m) to get out too, and can be tough if you...More

Even sitting in waist deep water near the shore we could still see plenty of fish, so it would be fine for anyone who is able to put their head under water. Having said that, there is a strong current (we weren't told about... More
