This made a dramatic and satisfying destination for a very scenic bike ride from Banos. Well worth the walk down the path.

The Lonely Planet guide we were using did not tell us that this waterfall is a 3/4 mile hike down the equivalent of 15 floors and then of course 15 floors and 3/4 miles back UP! Luckily it was a great waterfall...very impressive. So worth...More

Amazing waterfall! There are 2 entrances from Rio Verde to get to the falls, both are worth the walk and entrance fee. Bring a rain coat if you want close pictures, you will get soaked! You can buy tours, rent a taxi, or bicycle the...More

We biked there and ended up getting soaked with rain. My phone and camera both stopped working. Even so, we were glad we made it to this amazing falls. There's a lovely hike to get there and several viewing areas.

Easy hike and nice view! I went there with my family in February, the place is beautiful and surrounded by mountains and vegetation. It is worth to visit!

Fantastic, fun, and easy hike. We did this at the end of the day, well worth our time and effort. We did not do the top section above the waterfall. Easy drive from Baños.
