We rented a car and did this drive in a day. It is a good way to see both Lanin and Nahuel Huapi National Parks and the many lakes dotting the landscape. San Martin de los Andes is a great place to stop for lunch.

We enjoyed our day trip to see the Seven Lakes, our tour also had a rest stop in San Martin de Los Andes for lunch and an opportunity to walk around. The various lakes all were beautiful.

We had a rental car and spent a whole day driving from Bariloche to San Martin de los Andes and back. There are some pretty spots on the way and segments with nice wildflowers (in Dec/Jan). All in all however, this was not unique enough...More

Wherever you'll tern your head in Patagonia you will see this: Beutiful lake suurrounded with a forest and mountains with snowy picks. Thats is why we chose to save one they and just see those lakes from the bus on our way to San Martin...More
