Calle Peatonal La Florida is one of the busiest in Salta and has a great selection of shops and restaurants. Just watch your pockets

This is a very nice place to visit, the only problem are the vendors that are moving around all the time offering their products. In the afternoon they sit on the floor with blankets and cover the pavements making it uncomfortable to walk around!

Typical pedestrian shopping, quiet and safe, with many shops mainly sporting goods. Ideal to go in the late afternoon when the heat goes down and everything is open.

It is a strip of shop in central Salta starting from the main square. The atmosphere is lovely, some vendors are in the street selling typical craft from the region but the shop are not so interesting, the merchandise in the windows are little old...More

Salta is a city where real people live, not just a tourist place, and this street is where much local retail is done. Enjoyable people watching.
