The PALACIO illustrates and pays tribute to THE DIVINE COMEDY written by DANTE ALIGHIERI. This building shows a unique architectural style, mingling the neo-Romanesque and neo-Gothic appearance followed by the dome, with its original hindu design, which belongs to the region of Bhubaneshwar. It represents the tantric union between Dante and Beatrice, both protagonists of The Divine Comedy.

Perfect place for people who love building architecture. It really is a stunning building. I took a lot of pictures here and loved them all. A lot of interesting history here, and highly recommend the visit.

We stumbled across this magnificent building which was a build to honor Dante - every architectural aspects mirrors his The Divine Comedy - if there is only one building you see in BA make it this one!

From the hand of the same architect as the Palacio Salvo in Montevideo, Mario Palanti. Difficult to compare due to the position in the street and the different functions of the towers. Quite a climb to the top floor of the lighthouse when the stairs...More
