This looks quite impressive bright & shining in the sun. We were told it’s made out of 747 parts the engine cowlings I assume. It should open & close but this part seems not to work now

The Floralis Generica is an very interesting large sculpture located in a city park. The flower opens as the sun rises and then slowly closes in the late afternoon/sunset. It’s a good idea to photograph it in the morning and afternoon if in the area...More

Nice sculpture and good views of the city but not much else to do in the park. It’s a short walk to the Recoleta Cemetery so it’s worth a stop for pictures.

Well worth seeing up close. Do stroll around the sculpture for a better view of the reflecting pool. We had a restful visit midday with no crowds.

This statue of a flower opens in the morning and slowly closes during the day like a real flower. Very close to museo de Bella Artes.

We just had to visit and photograph this very large Flora Sculpture. There is nearby parking and our sunny day visit permitted photographs.

The flower opens as the sun rises and closes as the sun sets. It’s a beautiful park for anyone to visit on a nice day.

Opened or closed this sculpture is a beauty piece of art with a very endearing back story. Take a little time and walk around The whole flower and at night the lights make it extra special.
