Lovely place to go and visit.
Has a lovely restaurant there with lots of food and drink options along with sheesha.
Beach is great and love looking out at the mangroves.

It was absolutely nightmare ! Guys never go camping there! Security is so annoying, zero privacy, very noisy, very crowded! If you want peace and quiet go rasalkheimah mountain, if you want mangrove go to Abudhabi but never come to here for camping! I regret huge amount?

We will be very close to nature when you are visiting this beach. Clearwater and nice slop make you comfortable to take a bath. Facilities are limited with only one cafe and no proper washroom facilities. Kayaking is available and it's very safe. The approach road is not so good and you need to pay AED 20/car to enter. From the main road be careful about the direction (don't rely on google map)

UAQ is now expanding with its options to attract tourists and the mangroves is not a place to be missed. Free entry. Family-friendly. Walk among the little mangrove or book and have a kayaking! I visited during morning and weather was nice. No washrooms found. Bring your food and water.

My request: a mangrove tour on SUP
What I got: a kayak tour of 1hour

Booking: responded despite the late daytime 👍🏻 and added me to a trip with two other people as usually it is min. 2 people. It would be helpful if at this point
- Prior experience of the client is requested
- Information on length of the tour is given
Arrival:
- It would be good if clear information is given and formalities (forms/payment) are done right away
- It would be nice to offer clients a drink or at least as if they want to order anything if they are left to wait for 1,5 hours
- Clients would appreciate if they get what they book (I had asked SUP and got a kayak; others had asked for 3km SUP but tour was 5km)
- The place needs a competent manager with organizational and communication skills
Guide:
- should welcome clients and introduce himself and show some interest in what he does
- Would expect him to have fluent English skills and knowledge of the mangroves and environment
- Would be appreciated if he would accommodate also beginners on SUP instead of just judging they are not fast enough without having seen them and moving them to a kayak
Experience:
- Clients would appreciate to be informed that they would need to drive another 15 min to the mangroves
- the mangroves are nice, weather was pleasant
- The 5km kayaking was done then in one hour

All in all it was not worth the money.

What a great surprise and a wonderful day was had paddling the mangroves in Umm Al Quwain, UAE.

I went with a group of friends and found it to be not only educational but relaxing and a great break from the craziness of Dubai. I highly recommend this trip to visitors to the UAE and residents. I would definitely go again.
