This is also known as the “bamboo organ church”. It has a beautiful bamboo organ and is a historical landmark. It also has a courtyard that can be used for gatherings. The church is lit up at Christmas and very festive. Make sure you get photo bong bong when there at Christmas m

How to go there:
1. From EDSA, ride a bust bound to MOA/Baclaran. Fare is Php22.
2. Get off in front of Baclaran Church(bus will pass by the Coastal Mall terminal. don't get off the bus yet. Wait until they collect passengers bound to EDSA and resume their trip to Baclaran.
3. Walk along the road on the left side of the church AKA the shopping street. This is where the jeepney pass by.
4. Ride a jeep bound to pulang lupa. St. Jospeh Parish Bamboo Organ Church is on the right side. Fare is 12PhP. Just tell the driver to drop you off at the Bamboo Organ Church.
5. Once you arrive at the site, the Museum is located inside the Antillan House(old house beside the church). Entrance fee is 100Php for adults. WORTH IT. 100Php to see artifacts and know the almost 200year-old history of the City and the world-famous and the only Bamboo Organ in the world.

BTW, the 40th Bamboo Organ Festival is held every last weekend of February. Expect a lot of guests and performers from all over the world.

Part of the Filipino Tradition, Simbang Gabi is a 9 evening/ mid morning mass before Christmas. Saint Joseph Parish or known as Las Piñas Bamboo Organ Church is one of our favorite church to attend Simbang Gabi. The Vintage look of the Church is being preserved, giving you a time travel of the past while visiting.

St Joseph Church is really nice, especially during the night when lit by artificial light. The bamboo organ is very special (I've never seen anything like this before). The roof of the church is also made by bamboo, which is quite unique. The church also includes a small museum that explains the mechanics of the bamboo organ.

I was lucky, since I visited St Joseph Church during the 41st international bamboo organ festival. This year it was also the celebration of the 200 year anniversary of their bamboo organ with several concerts. Seeing the bamboo organ is one thing. However, listening to it in a professional concert is a really great experience (and would deserve a 5-star rating). Hence, if you want to visit St Joseph church, try to schedule in such a way, that you hear somebody playing the organ. It's certainly worth it.

I’m proud to be a Las Piñero. Not to be bias or something, but I can say that the Bamboo Organ is indeed a real Philippine treasure. The organ is really made out of bamboo and is properly maintained by the St. Joseph’s Parish admin. Even the walls, lanterns, altars, etc are remarkable. Try to go inside the church to experience the historic ambiance. You may also see upclose the church loft wherein you'll see the "bamboo organ" itself (not sure how much is the entrance fee). They also have a souvenir shop, relevant yet affordable tokens. Even the main road outside the church was designed to be classic and made to be a historical corridor from the Zapote road all the way to Brgy. Manuyo, although you’ll notice some residential areas.

Going back to the church, did I mention that it also looks magnificent at night when masses are held in the evening, wedding and other special events. And also, this is a place to visit during holy week, wherein they conduct the famous Senakulo, Siyete Palabras and of course, the Easter Sunday. Hundreds, or even thousands of people also come to attend the Simbang Gabi at 4:00am, then have a yummy selection of pinoy breakfast such as kakanin, sopas, goto, lugaw, etc. at the Patio. This is often featured at different tv stations during Christmas season.

A lot more to say about the famous Bamboo Organ, but better if you visit and come see for yourself.

The Las Piñas Bamboo Organ is Las Piñas’ pride. It is housed in St Joseph Church beside the St. Joseph’s Academy. It is one of he oldest churches in the Philippines and the bamboo organ is a working and functioning bamboo organ that visitors can view and hear during Sunday mass. It is also celebrated during the Las Piñas Bamboo Organ Festival where musical performers from different parts of the world gather here and play on multiple days during the festival.

The church is best visited during Christmas season when the tree beside the church and the surrounding structure are decorated with capiz lights. The parking lot in front of the school is filled with stalls selling local delicacies like Puto Bumbong and Bibingka and so much more. The nearby Plaza Quezon is where you’ll find the traditional Filipino Parol (Christmas Lantern) being made and sold by the hundreds.

It was love at first sight when I saw this church. This church houses the famous Bamboo Organ, but apart from this, the age of the church has a nice feel to it. The design of the church is simple, yet has an attractive sight to it. You will be able to hear the sound of the Bamboo Organ when it plays during the Sunday morning mass.
When it comes to weddings, if you want a small and intimate wedding, I highly recommend this church. Its design is simple and yet an elegant one which would surely look good in the photos.
Do take time to visit this church. Its rich history would never fail you.

One of the most historical churches that we have. Of course, this is also my hometown wherein you will find the historic bamboo organ built by father Diego Cerra. Home as well to the world renowned Las Piñas boy's choir wherein I was also once a part of. One of the national treasure that we should be preserving for a long time.

The church itself is interesting but nothing truly unusual. However, the bamboo organ is incredible. It was built two hundred years ago, suffered from earthquakes, typhoons, and other disasters, was buried to protect it from marauders, and was finally sent to Germany for repair last century. The sounds its pipes create are absolutely marvelous. The small museum in the church gives you the history of the organ, narrated by a local organist.
