It's worth visiting the Whale House Museum. I've learned a lot about the different types of Whales and Dolphins. When you visit Hermanus make sure that you past by and visit this Museum.

We spent about an hour here. The museum is very interesting and has the skeleton of a large whale hanging from the ceiling. Cost to enter reasonable.

Take the time to pop into the Whale Museum because Hermanus has gotten fame from the majestic whales that rear their young in Walker Bay.

Given the status of Hermanus in the whale watching community this was a clear disappointment. Not very impressive. Took nus about 20 minutes to goi through the displays.

We went at the wrong time of year to see whales so we went to the museum instead. It was interesting.

Small and not kept up to date. A lot of exhibitions are closed- took all of 5 minutes to walk through 2 museums.
