Most visitors to Hermanus walk along the cliff paths to the right and left of the harbor in town. But this time we walked along the cliff paths opposite the Fernkloof area and walk left towards Voelklip beach. It was a stunning area and less...More

Whales? Dolphins? Seals? Oystercatchers? You will at certain times of the year see all of these on the Cliff Path! Thats not all. Great waves crash against the rocks! Totally relaxed when back home!

Started our hike at Grotto beach and then hiked all the way to old harbor. It was a solid, yet easy 13km hike. The path is well maintained and there are amazing views and benches along the way at every turn. Great if you want...More

Safe walks with a beautiful view. It is calming to walk and see the waves. The nature is breathtaking. Was a pleasure to go for a walk early in the morning and just before the sun set.

Really beautiful and amazing place to take a scenic walk or just sit and watch the waves crash it. Very highly recommended!

Walked this path, nice for making some pictures. We spotted a whale as well!! After one hour you’re also done with it cause it’s not very special but good for a morning stroll etc. Would do it if you have some spare time.

Hi Cathy. We have been visiting Hermanus since 1994 - have walked parts (not all) of the Coastal Paths many times, but they have all been on the Stanford side of the Town. From what we are familiar with, I would suggest you... More

A variety of surfaces - mostly would be accessible for a buggy. There was a wooden bridging section out of action not far from the natural pool area which is accessed by steps. However, it can be bypassed at road level.
