Best way to spend a Saturday: wine tasting in the Boland. The last of the autumn leaves were still visible on the vineyards. We made ourselves comfortable on the sofas by the fireplace and enjoyed the wine tasting

This vineyard is a good bit out of Franschhoek so it is a bit of a stretch to call it a Franschhoek vineyard. However, it does sit a little higher up the pass so commands some nice views and picture opportunities on a warm day....More

Don’t be put off by this busy vineyard . The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and the wine tasting is superb. They have time to look after you and talk through the wines. One of the best we visited.

This as an OK place to taste. All the wine descriptions were a bit the same, as if the hostess had forgotten her lines.
