Free tour number three: DISTRICT SIX TOUR at 4:20 p.m: A one a half tour around the neighbourhood of District Six,a former inner-city residential area in Cape Town that was built by a number of different nations who were forcibly removed from the area in the 1970s during Apartheid regime. We did the Bo Kaap walking tour with Alexander Hart, who was very informative and did a brilliant job of the 90 minute tour. Doing this walking tour with a guide is so much more interesting than walking around alone, as you learn so much...More

We took the Apartheid to Freedom and the Bo Kaap tours. Do yourself a favor and take at least one tour with these folks. We find that "free" walking tours have the best guides because they know if they aren't good, they aren't going to...More

Lizzie our tour guide gave us a great insight in to Apartheid South Africa. It is clear she is a proud South African and brought the story to life with little anecdotes though she herself was not born until 1990. Fascinating to hear about the...More

Keven did a fabulous job on this 90-minute tour. He spoke very passionately from his heart about this evil system in South Africa's history. The tour is nicely paced and quite informative, as you go from place to place. I highly recommend it!

We took the Bo Kaap tour with the guide Ken, who was fool of knowledge and took us on a very interesting journey, fool with stories and historical facts. It was a very colourful sight spiced with Ken's tips.
