Amazing trip. We had to reorganise our original trip due to bad weather and the sidecar team were very accommodating. We ended up with an evening drive around Chapman’s peak and a sunset picnic. The bikes are fantastic and the drivers are very friendly and knowledgeable. The team made plenty of stops and provided lots of photo opportunities. This is a must do in Cape Town.

What an awesome way to see some of the beautiful sites around Cape Town. The sidecar itself has lots of history and rode comfortably and safely. Ivan was a wonderful host who drove us through Chapman's Peak, it was such a unique experience that we will always remember! Highly recommend!

I had been looking forward to this tour from the time I first saw it listed, and it did not disappoint. What a fun way to see the stunning coasts of S.A., as well as selected sites. My driver tailored the tour to what I was most interested in (animals) and, despite a bit of inclement weather that obscured Cape Point, it was a delightful day of cycling and animal sightings! Do it!

My husband and I have never rode a side car and I’ve never rode a motorcycle, so we were very apprehensive about the ride. Also, to add to the apprehension, it was a cloudy and windy day. However, the moment we arrived at the garage, our driver Bradley and all the staff made us feel comfortable. Also, they had a small distillery there, so we did a tasting of brandy, whiskey and lemon cello which definitely made everything ok!
We did the 2 hours ride to Chapman’s Peak and it was simply amazing! Our driver Bradley told us all about Capetown along the way and he’s an amazing photographer! Even though the wind and a little rain hit us during the ride, everything was great! We were provided ponchos and the side car had a nice leather covering so I stayed pretty close dry on the ride.
If you want to see Capetown with adventure, book with Cape Sidecar Adventures, you won’t regret it!

Thanks for the super feedback. Sorry to hear you got caught in the rain. But this is Cape Town, I suppose, and it's all part of the adventure! Bradley has been with us for many years & is indeed a great ambassador for Cape Town and our sidecars.

Can’t thank Chris at Cape Sidecar Adventures enough. He was an absolute gent from start to finish and it really felt like he really enjoyed driving the bike and giving the tour. He was super knowledgeable about Cape Town and all the best tourist spots. Was more than happy to stop and take pictures and was very patient when we did so. The tour itself was amazing, Cape Town is stunning and some over the views are unbelievable. Chris picked us up from our hotel and made sure he knew where we wanted to go, he then told us the route he planned to take to squeeze everything we wanted in, and off we set. Would highly recommend Cape Sidecar Adventures to anyone. Not only was Chris amazing, but booking the tour online was super easy,the customer service was very helpful and quick to respond to any queries and they sent us a Whatsapp a day or two before the trip to confirm. Overall a perfect experience that’s helped to make our holiday special.

We loved our 2 hour tour with Jacques through the west coast! Tim, the owner, was so gracious for squeezing us in. We then sampled their distillery products and rode with their rescue dog Brody to our next destination. Definitely request a ride with Brody, he’s the best!!! An epic adventure for sure!

Our second visit to Cape Town and our main reason to visit was to experience the fantastic thrill and enjoyment again that Cape Sidecars provide. And of course to reunited with Chris our driver/rider, a true gent and now a great friend.
Travelling in a sidecar offers a truly unique and exciting way to see the sights around Cape Town . They provide you a jacket and a helmet plus your own bandana/tube to keep as a memento . Riding pillion is surprisingly comfortable and you can alternate with your partner between pillion and the sidecar. All the drivers are very experienced and knowledgeable, ensuring you have a fantastic day.
Communications with the company is great I always received prompt replies and they were a pleasure to deal with.
I cannot recommend this experience enough, if you are in Cape Town you really must book this, you won't be disappointed I'm sure. A+++++

We've been around for almost 18 years now & have created lasting memories for over 35000 guests since we started in 2004 & it's good to see we haven't lost our touch!! Our most valuable assets (besides our lovable chariots) are our drivers. They are all passionate & knowledgeable & always prepared to make our guests' memories that extra bit special. We had a once in a lifetime amazing ride with Ivan and Brody! Ivan is the sweetest and nicest person who really drives so well! We specifically requested for Brody to be a part of our ride and our expectations were surpassed over and over! Brody is so incredibly cute and an amazing co-pilot. We did the 2 hour west coast ride to Bloubergstrand beach and we got to drive through the town - this area is so nice! The views of table mountain from here are also picturesque.
This is such a wonderful experience and we doubt we will ever be able to do something like this again! You must must book this ride - you will thank yourself after!

Hi Jules & Josh. Thanks for the great feedback. Yes, our sidecar pooch @brodysidecar is the best companion to have on a sidecar trip. He's especially grateful for his doggie snacks that you brought for him all the way from New York. If you want a different & exciting way of seeing Cape Town & environs then book a tour. These guys are great! Excellent bikes/sidecars driven by super people who go out of their way to give you a special experience. I cannot recommend them highly enough. And they have all sorts of interesting things at their Salt River depot - certainly the best place to start. Thanks for a wonderful experience Cape sidecars!!

Hi there,
Is there a time allocated to go up table mountain during this tour? My husband and I are spending our honeymoon in April in SA and would consider doing this tour? Would it be cold and windy?
