This is an oasis of calm close to the City Centre. Also home to many museums and government buildings. Well worth a visit.

Within a very short space in Company's Gardens you can see the parliament, national gallery, national museum, slave lodge and town hall.

The gardens are pretty and a beautiful walk for the Mount Nelson Hotel - but while there is a lot of history enroute as you go through the gardens there is no much in the way of a walking informative tour unless you know what...More

Smack in the heart of the CBD and in the backyard of South Africa's Parliament (for six months of the year anyway). Take the time to stroll through the paths of an historical garden in the middle of a world city.

The garden's are very pretty but not well maintained. There was lots of rubbish lying around. Also the numerous vagrants harass the visitors.

When it is not busy then you are conscious that you stand out. Worth visiting when busy. Nice laid out and connects various museums etc.

Not everyone's ideal location but was interesting and different from expectations. Worth a walk through - if not to just see some tourists be scared of squirrels!

We loved walking along the gardens and exploring the bird nests and feeding the birds! The little restaurant is great and a good way to grab refreshment!

The Park is in Central Cape Town and busy with people using it mainly for relaxation and walking or visiting the museums. As mentioned before, it is not very big and maybe not ideal for the purpose you want to use it for... More

Safe yes. Not very big though. You'd have to do laps 🍷
