The museum is housed in the old Kimberley Sanatorium, a typical colonial building (creaky floors!). The displays are not new but there is plenty of interest. The Siege of Kimberly section was good, with an excellent selection of contemporaneous photos. Off-road parking.

Extremely well put together displays of the various historical events that impacted on Kimberley. A very good account of our history - present and past. As well as the wildlife of the area. And the history of the people of the area.

Gives nice overview of history of Kimberley and it's people and environment. The timeline of SA history to the current day. Set in an old sanitorium then became a hotel and also a convent. Worth a visit but give yourself an hour or more.
