Besides Hiking ,dog walking and shady strolls ,a section of the Newlands forest is incorporated into the Table mountain greenbelt mountain biking trails.Entrances are well marked and signage adequate.The jeep track is shared with other users so its pretty much a recreational ride with courtesy...More

This a really nice outdoor area that is lovely for a walk about for families, casual strollers and ardent hikers Only negative is that I wish that there was a by-law compelling dog walkers to pick up their pets’ poo

There are many access points to the forest and the clearly marked walkways and routes are fun and provide an enjoyable outdoor experience

place is safe , myself didn't find any danger but precaution should be taken . i was there with my family , so my advise is - be there in a group , friends or family .
