It's a nice chilling place in the CBD, it has different restaurants for different taste. There are places that open till late and are reasonable. There are street vendors who sell different SA products.

Great progress in terms of urban renewal and charming as well as quant however never quite comfortable in terms of safety and security eg. no visible policing and streets , pavements littered and smelly.

I visited Maboneng, The place is very nice and has a very interesting vintage customization to it. Its a kool place to visit and chill with friends for drinks.

Absolutely awesome vibe, interesting people, delicious food - different cuisines and cake, lots of talented local things on sale. Next visit to go up to rooftop at 12 Decades hotel.

I stayed in a AirBnB room at the12 Decades Art Hotel. It was very enjoyable and the building was very nice and clean. The neighborhood was awesome as well.
