Amazing! I took my daughter skydiving for her 21st birthday and we're both ready to go again! David and Andrew were very informative, friendly and FUN! It was a very windy day so all other jumps after ours were cancelled but it's nice to know that safety is first and foremost with them. I would recommend this adventure with Phoenix Skydiving Center to everyone brave enough to take the jump.

It was a great experience! I am deathly afraid of heights and still had a great time. The staff was super friendly, which definitely helped with the nerves. I could tell the instructor was very knowledgeable, so trust was not an issue. I would definitely visit this location again if I was local. Definitely worth doing.

Took my daughter skydiving for her 18th birthday - couldn't have been happier with the experience! Flew to Arizona from Maryland and was totally pumped with this decision - one of the most exciting things to do! Felt totally safe and had a FANTASTIC experience, would do it again. I've read the other reviews, and frankly don't care if their bathroom may (or may not) have been clean. The company had great communication with me for several days in advance of the trip. I'm realistic, I realize that there are many reasons why a jump could be cancelled (most/all have to do with ensuring my safety!). My advice, do you homework ahead of time. Read the reviews (this one included) in the context of why someone would post. My comments are summarized by stating I'd gladly have my (one and only) daughter do this again.

My experience with this company is that it firmly puts profits before customer care, which is quite worrying since you're trusting them to parachute you thousands of feet from a plane.
I really didn't want to write this report. I phoned the company several times and talked to their General Manager. After the manager refused to resolve the situation, I even found the owner on Facebook, and sent him a message appealing to his better judgment to put things right before I had to resort to this report - but no success.
I had purchased a tandem skydiving voucher for their Arizona location. I booked, flew 4,000 miles round-trip from the East coast, drove tens of miles out into the desert to their airstrip in the desert, signed all the waivers... then it was suddenly canceled for weather. Since I was on a short vacation, there was no opportunity to reschedule.
Knowing that I would not be able to book again before the voucher expired, I requested a refund, given that it was clearly reasonable in the situation since I had fully upheld my side of the voucher terms (regardless that they are sold as "non-refundable"). They refused to refund my money multiple times. I was offered to try again at a closer location to home, but that wasn't an OK substitute for me - I had booked at the Arizona location because I wanted to skydive in Arizona.
If you buy a "non-refundable" airline ticket, you expect and are entitled to a refund if your flight is canceled, right? A replacement ticket to somewhere that you don't want to go is not an acceptable alternative.
So, now this company has $200+ of my dollars in their bank account, having provided nothing whatsoever in exchange - and they think this is perfectly fair (the definition of a scam in my book). In fact, the most appalling part of this experience was a quote from their General Manager during one of our conversations. Realizing that he was not going to make this right, I politely informed him that I would exercise my right to submit a negative review about the experience. His response - "we like it when people write negative reviews because it reinforces our no-refund policy"!!! Scarcely believable arrogance from a company in the 21st century.
This is where this company's stubborn fallback to their "terms & conditions" crosses the line to simply being an excuse to scam their customers. So, if you're planning to skydive, I suggest that you consider using a different, more reputable skydiving company that treats its customers in a fair and ethical way.

First the company moved and emailed me the new address the day before. They really aren't settled into their new place as evidenced by the FILTHY, DISGUSTING bathroom. This is the dirtiest public bathroom I have ever been in and if it wasn't for the critters in the desert, I would have preferred to just squat outside. I paid extra for the VIP "First in Line" deal. What a rip off as not only was it NOT necessary, but we got there a little early and they took me before my appointment! They make it sound like you may be there for HOURS if you don't pay the extra fee for VIP. Not true in my case (I was there on a Monday during spring break). The "safety training" is basically a 5 minute video that constantly talks about injury and death. This was NOT appropriate for my children to watch, but I wasn't warned about the content and they show it in the waiting room, so my kids eventually went outside and were visibly upset about the video content. There are no warnings or information provided about any health issues you may have. I wish I would have known how easily it is to incur motion sickness while skydiving or the effects of oxygen at that altitude. After I vomited for the entire parachute portion, I was told it was common. That would have been nice to know beforehand and I would have taken some meds to help. The plane ride is very crowded, hot, & bumpy. Not their fault, except I felt faint once we got about 5000 miles up. I let them know my hands and feet were tingling, though they couldn't/didn't do anything about it. Upon doing my own research afterwards, I've come to the conclusion that breathing into a paper bag would have helped, as would some extra oxygen, or the tingling was a result of the harness being too tight and my blood wasn't circulating. The free fall was the best part. Falling that fast is fun and I couldn't wait to get out of that plane and get some air as it was. Once the parachute opened up, I vomited the rest of the way. It's a bummer because I enjoy things like this and have never been sick before. I can only narrow it down to a few things and it would have been nice to know from a business that has been around for years, that I could have taken steps to prevent it, lessen it, or they could have been more prepared in dealing with it.

We purchased a gift certificate through Phoenix Area Skydiving as a 2014 Christmas present for our college age daughter. Because she lives most of the year away at college, we had a reservation booked for her over her Christmas break. Unfortunately, Phoenix Area Skydiving cancelled her reservation and since she was going back to school we couldn't try to book again until summer. When we tried to book summer of 2015, we were told there was nothing available so we planned way in advance and booked for Thanksgiving break 2015. Again, Phoenix Area Skydiving cancelled her reservation last minute and rebooked her for the next day. The following day, her reservation was again cancelled. At this point we were unable to rebook because our daughter was heading back out of state to college and we were going to be moving out of state. Consequently, we would no longer be living in the area and had no way to reschedule our daughter so she could redeem her gift certificate. At this point, we asked for a refund. The employee on the phone told us they could not help us but told us we could try emailing their boss, which we did. Unfortunately, we received no response from our email. At this point, it looks like we are out our money and our daughter has no skydiving experience to show for it. We were very disappointed in the customer service we received.

My husband and I bought a Groupon for this for our anniversary and it didn't disappoint! Our instructors were knowledgeable and calming. They had some great techniques for keeping one calm when feeling nervous. It is such a sensory overload that I want to do this jump again to really appreciate everything that is happening. I would recommend skydiving to anyone and this company was awesome!

What a rush! I couldn't have chosen a better place to skydive. The staff were friendly and made you feel comfortable from beginning to end. My Instructor Andrew was amazing he made me feel relaxed and prepared me for what I was about to experience. Everyone should try it atleast once but I guarantee you, you'll be hooked and ready for that rush again, as soon as you land!
