Pay attention to the weather before driving on the road. If it recently rained heavily, the highway will be in rougher shape and you should adjust your speed accordingly. The road is rougher on the US side of the border than the Canadian side. The...More

No the road closes in mid September and ferry service at Dawson ends as well. I wouldn't drive in a normal car either, parts of the road are almost impassable.
