We loved this trail and the others around Colonia. The views were wonderful and even the trail itself is amazing. The trail will give you access to history, birds, and viewpoints.

A really nice trail with excellent views of Yap, ancient stone path used as a road in the old days, well worth the time, great photographic opportunities along the way.

Have a lot of water, the east side is more sunny. There are two dogs on the east side, they don´t like the travellers but just talk to them calm and they let you go.

This approximately 4 mile hike takes you through rain forest to the top of the island and down to a WWII crash site of an American Hellcat plane.

The walk climbs to a lovely viewpoint and then descends through the jungle. Plant spores attach themselves to your socks and shoes; they are not easy to remove.

This is a great hike to do around sunset when the heat of midday has dissipated. This is the only hike I know of on Yap that you can do without getting permission from the land owners - there aren't public lands there. The trail...More

Brilliant little walk along an old stone road/path that was used for hundreds of years by the locals before road. We had a guide who spent the time explaining the history, flora and fauna and an old WW2 aircraft wreck off the track. Easy walking...More
