love walking the beach and watching the sunrise. during the winter you can take your dog down with you as long as you clean up after them. Get to see the penguins coming to visit too. Awesome!

The best way to finish a long day. Watching this from my hotel room. Went for a walk along the board walk. Lights came on.

My partner and I took a relaxing stroll along the lovely beach and the evening ended with us listening to the funny noises of the local blue penguins. We had a fantastic visit.

Yes. its all to do with extra sand arriving on the beach. It being sheltered by the harbour breakwater the sand settles there rather than being swept north
